Was also thinking of getting it, but will wait a bit now with Bad Company 2 out and still play Anno 1404.

Don't think so, didn't really play the first one much. It was good for a while on multiplayer especially at LANs, but I lost interest quite quickly... Very few RTS games ever hold my interest for long. Like Smoos3 I've still got a pile of games I'd like to play, let alone finish, plus the next Warhammer 40k game is out this weekend...
